We are seeking a Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the activities of drivers, dispatching vehicles, monitoring vehicle locations, and ensuring that all drivers are following safety protocols. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Book Loads every morning from DAT Loadboard and other load booking platforms.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain records of calls and dispatches.
- Monitor the status of personnel and equipment.
- Provide information to callers and personnel.
- Keep accurate records of all calls and dispatches.
- Maintain contact with personnel in the field.
- Ensure that all calls are handled in a timely manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
