Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Floater teacher to join our team. As a Floater Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting primary teachers captivate a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. You will play an important role in their development by assisting in implementing fun activities and providing educational support.
Duties:
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth while in absence of primary teacher
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate and assist with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment
- Help assist teachers to Incorporate technology and interactive learning tools into lessons
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and progress
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required
