DeCoria, Blair & Teague, PS is Hiring an Audit Associate Near Spokane, WA

DeCoria, Blair & Teague, PS, a local CPA firm in Spokane, Washington, is ready to add an new team member to our firm. We are looking for an entry-level accountant who is a CPA or CPA candidate to assist primarily in performing audit engagements, and secondarily to assist in providing accounting and tax services.

A great candidate for this position will have the following skills and characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA or actively pursuing completion of CPA licensing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Word
  • Solid understanding of planning and performing audits in accordance with professional standards – auditing governmental and not-for-profit entities preferred
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment
  • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Performing portions of audit and accounting engagements, as assigned by in-charge personnel
  • Assist with financial statement preparation
  • Assist with handling various accounting/bookkeeping and tax preparation services
  • Some travel will be necessary during peak times

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
