Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and more. Your creativity and passion for hair will help our clients look and feel their best. Duties: - Provide excellent customer service by listening to clients' needs and preferences - Cut, style, and color hair using various techniques and tools - Perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling - Recommend hair care products to clients and provide guidance on at-home maintenance - Upsell salon services and products to increase revenue - Maintain a clean and organized work station - Adhere to all salon policies and procedures Skills: - Strong mentoring skills to assist junior stylists in their professional development - Proven ability to upsell salon services and products - Experience with eyelash extensions is a plus - In-depth knowledge of cosmetology principles, techniques, and practices - Exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction - Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling - Knowledge of nail care is a bonus - Familiarity with the use of straight razors for shaving or trimming facial hair - Understanding of color theory and the ability to create customized hair colors - Experience using MINDBODY or similar salon management software is preferred Join our team of talented stylists and make a difference in the lives of our clients.
