Are you passionate about Energy Efficiency Projects in Highly Impacted Communities?

You have an opportunity to support residential community outreach efforts to promote electric energy efficiency programs in Utah and southern Idaho. We are seeking a candidate living in the greater Salt Lake City metro area with ability to reach and network with homeowners through a various mix of community events. Must be willing to live in the territory and travel around Utah and southern Idaho. Seeking a candidate that is willing to be a team player and fill in for various roles as they are needed.

Position Qualifications:

• Experience in engaging with hard-to-reach, undeserved and rural
• Ability to train/educate customers on energy efficiency
• Microsoft Office applications
• Self-starter who is highly detail oriented, organized and goal
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication
• Adapt to process and procedural changes for application processes/offerings.
• Ability to engage with co-workers in a virtual environment, with an emphasis on connecting with remote field staff.
• Background in energy efficient technologies preferred, but not

Additional Support:

• Connect and train with outreach specialist to promote energy efficiency program to retail and HVAC contractors.
• Follow up with customers who participated in the residential efficiency program to gain feedback.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with community members from diverse
• Ability to coordinate with event staff and or business
• Open to all undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year educational program and graduate students who are enrolled in an accredited educational program.

• Use of database for reports and accurate data-entry
• Previous experience working in a virtual environment is helpful but not

Physical Efforts:

• Sitting or standing for extended periods at a computer; data entry, proficient typing
• Speak/hear. Provide clear, accurate communication, and hear
• Driving up to 3-4 hours on paved/unpaved roads
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 lbs.
