JOB SUMMARY
The Pharmacy Systems Support Specialist works to provide support to pharmacy systems clear understanding of the pharmacy process. Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and assists in the creation of system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Incumbents function as a liaison between IT and users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners and clients.
2. Monitor and report upon Service Level Agreements
3. Coordinate and collaborate with system upgrades and other implementations.
4. Create project plan for system changes.
5. Assist in management and escalation for Help Desk requests.
6. Troubleshoot system issues.
7. Assist with maintenance of servers and printers.
8. Training for new users and changes to systems
9. Document system changes and create such training materials as are necessary.
10. Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
11. Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
12. Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
13. Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
14. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
15. Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
16. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associates degree in Information Technology or related field. Equivalent experience in an outpatient or retail pharmacy setting may be substituted for Associates degree. Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required.
Experience: Specialized experience that includes working knowledge of pharmacy (retail, Skilled Nursing and/or acute care) with front end and backend fulfillment processes. 1-2 years’ experience in project management, a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Security Clearance required per site/correctional facility requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (With or without the aid of mechanical devices)
1. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
2. Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
3. Must possess the sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
4. Must function independently, have personal integrity, have flexibility, and can work effectively with other staff.
5. Must be able to operate office, business, and accounting machines.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
2. Works in well lighted/ventilated office areas.
3. Subject to frequent interruptions.
4. Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.
5. Attend and participate in continuing educational programs.
6. Communicates with both external and internal customers.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
