Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate STEM/Robotics Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. Your role will involve planning and implementing lessons, assessing student progress, and providing guidance and support to help students achieve their educational goals.
Duties:
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and promote a productive learning atmosphere
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop educational programs and initiatives
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Foster a love for learning and encourage student engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of effective teaching methods and strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet the needs of different learners
- Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the classroom
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in adult education or tutoring
- Background in childcare or early childhood education
