Job Summary:
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Bartenders. As a Bartender at Layli Mediterranean, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious cocktails while providing guests with attentive and friendly service. From mixing drinks and recommending pairings to engaging with guests and maintaining a clean bar area, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience.
DUTIES:
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders
- Provide drink and food recommendations and answer questions regarding any menu items
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, and other beverages
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar is required
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits
- Familiarity with Square, Toast, Clover, Restaurant Manager, or SkyTab POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- TIPS certification preferred but not required
