Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, high energy and customer-oriented individual who loves connecting with people to join our team as a Market Associate. As a Market Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties:

- Set up and maintain an attractive booth display, also responsible for the breakdown at the end of the market
- Engage with customers, sharing samples and knowledge about our products and assist with purchases.
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Perform cash handling duties accurately and efficiently
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Maintain a clean and organized market area
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves

- Must Represent Chrissy’s Cupboard with Professionalism and Genuine Enthusiasm and commit to delivering exceptional customer service.

Experience:
- Previous experience in sales retail or customer service is preferred

- Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Must have reliable transportation to and from Farmer’s Markets locations

- Flexibilit to work weekends and holidays as dictated by farmers markets schedule is necessary

-Food handlers certificate mandatory
- Knowledge of electronics sales is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in technology sales is an asset
- Ability to confidently demonstrate product features

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• They should be able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Bending, stooping, and reaching to set up and arrange booth displays are expected.
• Impeccable grooming and hygiene are essential, and visible tattoos or piercings are not permitted.
