Job Description: RB Jax, LLC is a parts store that sells car parts of all kinds. Our company is growing and we are looking for great individuals who can be part of the team.

This is a PART TIME position, 16 hours per week (two days). Choose your days, Monday-Saturday.

The Part Puller is responsible removing parts from vehicles in the salvage yard according to company standards and procedures. You will be going to two junkayrds in Jacksonville, getting the parts, and delivering them to a local shop. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety protocols. This job is done at a salvage yard and you must be able to work outside in any weather conditions.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify vehicles and parts scheduled for dismantling.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to remove parts from vehicles.
• Inspect removed parts for quality and usability.
• Dispose of unusable parts and materials properly.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately documenting parts removed.
• Parts will need to be delivered (using your vehicle) to local storage area for pickup.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems A MUST.
• Knowledge of how to remove different automotive parts.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and quality (remove parts without damaging).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive repair or salvage A MUST.
• Familiarity with salvage yard operations a plus.

Physical and other Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 pounds) repeatedly.
• Stamina to stand, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for handling tools and parts.
• Must be able to work outside, in all weather conditions.
• Comfort working in a potentially dirty or noisy environment.
• Required to own and maintain all the necessary mechanical tools including but not limited to hand tools, wrenches and power tools such as drills/drivers etc. Will be discussed during interview.
• Vehicle to load dirty parts and deliver to local storage area.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
