Position Description:

As an Installer Technician you will be installing Cable Television, Internet, and all associated hardware in members’ homes and/or businesses. You will be working in homes and outside in all weather conditions. The use of power-tools and other equipment is required. You will be responsible for daily paperwork and other tasks. Tasks can change daily and are dependent upon the needs of members and Cable Co-op. This position also involves technical support, which may be provided over-the-phone or by making a visit to the home or business.

Qualifications:

Must have valid driver license and able to be insured.

Must have great in-person and over-the-phone customer service skills. (We will train)

Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver seventy-five pounds.

Must be able to climb a ladder and work at heights of twenty feet and higher. (We will train)

Must be able to work in all weather and conditions including, hot attics, wet crawl spaces, snow, ice, and cramped conditions.

Must be able to work 9am-5pm Monday – Friday and be available for on-call duties. On-call duties are after-hours, for one week at a time, and will begin after some training is completed.

Must be comfortable working with electronics including phones, laptops, and tablets. (We will train)

Must be able to respond quickly while on afterhours on-call duties.
