As a team member for our takeout restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in placing orders and packaging their meals for takeout. Here's a detailed breakdown of your duties:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide assistance in choosing menu items. Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
• Order Processing: Input orders into our POS system promptly and ensure all necessary details are correct. Communicate special requests or modifications to the kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and assembling food orders as needed. This may include packaging items, garnishing dishes, and ensuring orders are complete before handing them to customers.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout the takeout process. Conduct regular checks to ensure all food items meet our standards before packaging them for customers.
• Efficiency: Work efficiently to minimize wait times for customers. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and packaged in a timely manner, especially during peak hours.
• Cash Handling: Process cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system. Handle payments, issue receipts, and provide correct change to customers.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the takeout area clean and organized at all times. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking packaging materials, and disposing of waste properly.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, delivery drivers, and management to address any issues that arise.
