Seaonus Refrigerated Services is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Mobile, AL

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Operates forklift in a safe manner to stack and retrieve supplies and materials while maintaining inventory and ensuring production area organization and cleanliness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lift, stack, un-stack and move materials using electric powered trucks equipped with fork attachments.
  • Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of a warehouse so they may be located easily.
  • Unload trucks and place products in warehouse and, or freezer area for storage.
  • Load trucks ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed.
  • Completes and submits Equipment Check List Form before utilizing any company equipment.
  • Completes and submits written documentation as required.
  • Maintain sanitation and housekeeping in work area.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge and willingness to perform all responsibilities of each position within the team.
  • Resourceful, well organized, and dependable.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse personalities.
  • Comfortable serving in a leadership role.
  • Ability to work overtime during the week or on weekends.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift certification. Basic knowledge area's include; Safety Procedures; Truck Inspections; Storage and Exchange Points; Counterbalance Effect; Stability Triangle;

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen and background check.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC Badge.
