As part of our recruiting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our locations by sourcing and interviewing candidates who will go on to teach, supervise and build relationships in their communities.
O-fish-ial Summary: The Recruiting Associate is responsible for managing a database of applicants, pre-screening candidates and conducting virtual interviews. Qualified candidates are then scheduled to move forward with in-person interviews at the appropriate location with an on-site manager. This position oversees the recruiting process for 9 locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Colorado.
This is a remote, entry-level recruiting position. However, candidates must be based in the Denver, Colorado area and will work on a schedule in Mountain Time. Occasional visits to Denver locations are expected but infrequent.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System for multiple positions at multiple locations
  • Review applications for experience, technical skills and/or qualifications to determine if they may be successful in the given position
  • Contact applicants via text, phone and email to set up and conduct interviews over Google Meet
  • Utilize ATS and Google Suite tools to send/schedule communications and interviews and keep candidate pipeline organized
  • Track success metrics and hold regularly scheduled review meetings with each schools’ management teams to measure success and needs within each school
  • Work with recruiting team and Director to build and reflect on successful strategies
  • Post, remove, refresh, re-post or close job postings as needed
  • Manage job postings and sponsorships from outside sources (really, ZipRecruiter, local schools & colleges, etc.) as needed
  • “Headhunt” or contact potential candidates using outside sources like really as neededJob Qualifications and Skills:
    • The ideal candidate has or gains knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School employment process and understands both our program and each of the positions we hire for.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, attention to detail. A positive, engaging and professional presence on camera/over the phone, ability to engage candidates in conversation remotely
    • Ability to work independently and with others as a decision maker
    • Must be flexible on hours to make efforts to reach candidates based on their availability, occasionally outside of regular hours
    • Must have excellent time management skills to ensure the responsibilities of the position are fulfilled in a timely manner
