OVERVIEW:
Brickeology is a home-grown, family-owned business and we are seeking ENTHUSIASTIC & DETAIL-ORIENTED individuals with at least a basic knowledge of LEGO to join our team as Camp Leaders. As a Camp Leader, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating memorable experiences in a fun and safe environment. DATES:
Must be able to work all three camps held at the Mount Juliet Community Center, camps run June 3-7, June 24-28, & July 15-19th and run from 10:00am-1:00pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate games.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
- Assist in the implementation of camp programs and curriculum.
- Provide guidance and support to campers.
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp community.
- Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp staff to create a positive camp experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred.
- A working knowledge of LEGO is essential.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children up to 20.
- Background in early childhood education or related field is beneficial but not required.
- Experience in educating, babysitting, tutoring, is desirable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old or older.
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
-Must be able to attend paid trainings in Nolensville during the last half of May.
- Pass a background check and provide references.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and creativity.
