Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess and record patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Equipment and Assistive Devices: Recommend and provide instructions on the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment, such as crutches, canes, or wheelchairs, to enhance mobility.

Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure patients receive the best possible treatment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Research and Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in physical therapy by participating in continuing education and, in some cases, conducting research in the field.

Adherence to Ethics and Standards: Adhere to the ethical principles and standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and state licensing boards.
