Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and provide exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include checking guests in and out, answering phone calls, and assisting with guest inquiries. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with guest check-out process, including collecting payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Multilingual abilities are a plus (e.g., bilingual in English and Spanish)
- Knowledge of front desk operations and guest relations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is a plus
