Job Overview:

We seek a motivated indivial who is passionate about Functional medicine/holistic health. to join our team. This person is also a skilled and dedicated Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant. This position is vital in providing excellent customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience with phone systems, electronic medical record systems, and general administrative tasks.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

- Place electronic lab test orders

- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes

- Maintain patient records and update information as needed

- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence

- Perform basic medical assistant duties such assisting healthcare provider as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical assisting is a plus

- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred

- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic) is highly desired

- Strong administrative skills, including knowledge of office procedures and equipment

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
