Energy Technician / Junior Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform under general supervision all aspects of installation and retrofitting LED light fixtures. The PCE Energy Tech (equivalent to apprentice electrician) demonstrates the mechanical aptitude, safety skills, and communication skills necessary to complete the following duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform the basic tasks of material handling, jobsite housekeeping, tool and equipment maintenance, and general labor.
  • Install or retrofit lighting fixtures, interior and exterior.
  • Understand and follow jobsite directions and instructions, both written and verbal.
  • The preceding covers the primary duties and responsibilities of the position. It should not be construed as a complete listing of all miscellaneous, incidental, or similar duties that may be required from day to day.

Physical Standards

  • MUST be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, over-head reaching, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
  • Operating two handed tools/equipment such as cable cutters, hammer drills, and saws
  • Operating company vehicles with automatic transmission
  • Possession of good hearing, normal or corrected
  • Possession of good vision, normal or corrected

Minimum Education and Skill Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Current valid driver license
