Job Description: Rapid River Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Construction Project Manager and Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and estimating low voltage construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in various software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of low voltage construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and constraints.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and edit CAD drawings as needed to support project design and implementation.
  • Utilize ProCore, BlueBeam, and System Surveyor software tools for project documentation, collaboration, and communication.
  • Estimate project costs and perform take-offs for materials and labor.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate with field personnel to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and updates to stakeholders as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on low voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in editing CAD drawings and using software tools such as ProCore, BlueBeam, and System Surveyor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in estimating construction projects and performing take-offs for materials and labor.
  • Knowledge of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, security systems, access control, and audiovisual systems, is highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
