Job Title: Bilingual Elementary Teacher

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods, technology, and hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience and spark curiosity.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication, collaboration, and parent involvement initiatives.
• Implement assessments to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and differentiate instruction accordingly.
• Integrate English language instruction seamlessly to support bilingual development and academic achievement.
• Cultivate a love of learning by incorporating interdisciplinary connections, real-world experiences, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
• Uphold high expectations for student behavior, academic performance, and character development, while promoting a positive and respectful classroom culture.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, staff meetings, and school events to continuously grow as an educator and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification/license.
• Proven experience teaching elementary grades.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. If also fluent in Spanish that is a big bonus.
• Passionate about education, with a genuine love for working with children and helping them reach their full potential. ***most important! :)
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborative team player who values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Flexible, adaptable, and open to implementing new teaching strategies and methodologies.
