Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced CAD Designer to join our team. As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models using various software programs. Duties: - Create accurate and precise 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketchup, and other CAD software - Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts based on project requirements - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design specifications are met - Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality or address issues - Conduct research to stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies - Perform quality checks on completed designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards - Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met Experience: - Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role - Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketchup, NavisWorks, and other CAD software - Strong knowledge of drafting techniques and principles - Familiarity with Civil 3D for civil engineering projects is a plus - Experience in mechanical design is highly desirable - Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration abilities We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
