Position: IT Project Manager
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid Mode-Local)

Experience Required: 7-8 years of project management.

Project Focus: Enterprise Enablement of Generative AI Solutions

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the banking and finance sector, particularly in credit cards, to lead a long-term project focused on the enterprise enablement of generative AI solutions across various business functions globally. The ideal candidate will possess over 7-8 years of project management experience, with extensive knowledge of PMO functions and a proven track record of managing large-scale enterprise initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the rollout of enterprise-level generative AI solutions for various business functions globally.

Establish and maintain project management standards and best practices in alignment with enterprise initiatives.

Drive process improvements and ensure the adoption of PMO standards across the project.

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions.

Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and deliverables.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A master s degree or relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP) is a plus.

7-8 years of project management experience, with a focus on large-scale enterprise initiatives in the banking/finance sector, specifically in credit cards.

Strong knowledge of PMO functions, standards, and best practices.

Proven experience in leading projects related to generative AI or advanced technology implementations.

Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage change effectively.

Experience working with global teams and managing projects with a global impact.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of AI technologies and their application in the financial services industry.

Experience in setting up and managing PMO functions within a large organization.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking/finance sector.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering business value through technology solutions.
