As a Landscape Technician at Freedom Lawncare and Restoration, you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments for our clients. This position is ideal for veterans who are seeking a rewarding career outside of the military, where their skills, discipline, and dedication can continue to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing to maintain lawns and landscapes to company standards.
• Assist with landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, and installing hardscape features.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with curb restoration projects, including repairing damaged curbs and installing new borders.
• Participate in parking lot and driveway striping projects, ensuring accurate and precise application of striping materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team members.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications:

• Military service background preferred, with a strong understanding of teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Experience in landscaping, lawn care, or related field is beneficial but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy objects and operating power tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
