Job Summary:

Responsible for removing laundry & trash from rooms. Unloading chutes and help washing, drying, folding, all linens. Cleanliness of common areas, and achieving ongoing guest satisfaction. Maintenance assistance with troubleshooting HVAC, Door Lock reprogramming, TVs programming, Commercial Equipment maintenance, and etc.

Responsibilities:

- Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to the supervisor

- Removing dirty laundry & trash from rooms

- Separate laundry and identify items requiring pre-spotting treatment

- Restock linen on floors as necessary

- Responsible for keeping laundry room and equipment clean and working in a safe manner

- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing

- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed

- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety

-Support team members to ensure the team’s entire workload is completed daily

Skills:

- Customer service skills to interact with guests in a professional manner

- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in hotel rooms

- Knowledge of fabricating beds and arranging furniture for an aesthetically pleasing appearance

- Understanding schematics for equipment maintenance and repair

- Basic welding skills for minor repairs

- Knowledge of logic controllers for equipment operation

- Experience in facilities maintenance to ensure proper upkeep of the hotel premises

- Mechanical knowledge for handling basic maintenance tasks

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.25 per hour
