Macanson Construction specializes in enhancing the aesthetics of our clients' homes by designing and creating spaces that are functional and beautiful. Projects range from installing various styles of trim to improving the function and storage in their home by building custom cabinetry. We're looking for team oriented individuals who are self-motivated and passionate about building. To excel you must demonstrate strong communication skills and great attention to detail, will need to be solution oriented to be able to resolve problems when they arise.

Carpenter Assistant:

The candidate will need to demonstrate general knowledge of residential construction. This person will show knowledge and experience in safely working saws and other power tools necessary for a given project. Will need to know other various tools and their uses. This person will have an understanding of the various construction materials for building and installing cabinetry. This person will serve as a support person to the Master Carpenter. The candidate will need to show a willingness to learn, show an attention to detail when taking instruction. Minimum 2 years apprenticeship or training in the trades is required.

Skills in the following trades are a bonus- Light electrical, Plumbing, Tile, Drywall Repair, Flooring, Carpet Repair

Candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to the work site. Having a work vehicle is a plus. Having your own tools is a plus. Heavy lifting is required. Will have to do material runs as needed. Dependability is a must. Ability to speak Spanish or other languages is a plus.

We are offering a full time position with competitive wages ($35,000-$45,000), including paid vacation benefit. There is strong potential for advancement and growth.
