Title: Junior and Senior Aircraft Line Service Operations Detailer
Role: The job of the junior and senior aircraft cleaning detailer involves ensuring the cleanliness and overall presentation of aircraft, both inside and out. This role is crucial in maintaining a positive and professional image for the airline or aviation company.
The role of an aircraft cleaning detailer is essential for ensuring a positive passenger experience, complying with aviation regulations, and contributing to the overall safety and cleanliness of aircraft.
Duties: Interior Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize the interior of aircraft, including passenger cabins, restrooms, galley areas, and crew compartments. Vacuum, dust, and wipe surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Dispose of waste and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
Exterior Cleaning:
Wash and clean the exterior surfaces of the aircraft, including the fuselage, wings, and tail, to remove dirt, grime, and debris. Apply cleaning agents and solutions as needed, considering the type of aircraft and its surface materials.
Detailing:
Pay attention to detail when cleaning and polishing surfaces to ensure a polished and well-maintained appearance. Clean and polish windows and other transparent surfaces for visibility.
Inventory Management:
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply for ongoing operations. Report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Compliance with Safety Standards:
Adhere to safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Follow guidelines for the use of cleaning agents and equipment to prevent damage to aircraft surfaces.
Communication:
Coordinate with other ground crew members and relevant departments to ensure efficient turnaround times between flights. Report any damage or maintenance issues observed during the cleaning process.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections to ensure that the cleaning standards meet regulatory and company requirements. Address any deficiencies or areas that require additional attention.
Adaptability:
Be flexible and adaptable to varying schedules and the dynamic nature of airline operations, especially during peak travel times.
Qualifications: Previous experience in cleaning or detailing, preferably in the aviation industry.
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and communicate effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that may require reaching, bending, and lifting.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 Years
Education: High school Diploma and Associate Degree
Annual Salary
Range: $ 30,000 – 50,000 Experience Dependent
