Overview: We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structural Repairer to join our team. As an Aircraft Structural Repairer, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and modifying aircraft structures to ensure their safety and functionality. This is a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our aircraft fleet. Responsibilities: - Perform structural repairs on aircraft, including sheet metal repairs, composite repairs, and riveting - Fabricate and install parts and components using precision measuring instruments and tools - Conduct inspections to identify structural damage or defects - Collaborate with mechanics and avionics technicians to coordinate repairs and modifications - Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings for repair projects - Conduct root cause analysis to determine the cause of structural failures or malfunctions - Perform equipment repair and maintenance as needed - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Skills: - Strong knowledge of aircraft structural repair techniques and procedures - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and tools - Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for accurate measurements - Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis - Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices - Knowledge of avionics systems is a plus - Experience with soldering is preferred Join our team of skilled professionals and contribute to the safe operation of our aircraft fleet.
