We are looking for a Fleet Manager to manage all initiatives and policies related to fleet for these two growing companies in the Greater Cincinnati market. Fleet Manager Overview:

The Fleet Manager manages the full life cycle of all vehicles within the Bertke Electric and Titan Mechanical fleets. The Fleet Manager leads the procurement, maintenance, and retirement of all vehicles while working directly with operations leaders to provide the best service for our customers. The Fleet Manager controls the development of all fleet-related policies and ensures the company follows all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to vehicles and drivers. This role will report directly to the Bertke and Titan General Managers and work closely with operations/safety leaders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Navigates and leads negotiations and procurement of new vehicles
• Oversees vehicle assignments and hand-off of vehicles from suppliers to the field
• Controls maintenance operations for 100 vehicles across both Bertke Electric and Titan Mechanical
• Manages relationships with external fleet-related vendors and procurement
• Leads education and training on fleet issues (safe driving, defensive driving, preventative maintenance, etc.)
• Manages vehicle preventative maintenance programs
• Ensures drivers are compliant with all laws (including DOT regulations, etc.)
• Advises company leadership on policy changes to drive cost savings
• Drafts and manages all day-to-day fleet related policies
• Conducts routine analysis on spending (fuel, maintenance, etc.) to identify opportunities for cost savings
• Creates reports and provides routine updates to company leadership on the health and performance of the fleet
• Manages and coordinates vehicle operations through local fleet managers at various branches and offices
• Works with safety team to advise leaders on safety-related policies
• Handles the selling and removal of vehicles from the fleet
• Manage various pieces of equipment such as excavator, skid steer, bucket truck, lifts, and trailers etc. (anything with wheels and engine) in relation to maintenance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience
• Bachelor's degree a plus
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Experience in fleet management of 100 vehicles
• Preferred experience managing a fleet of mostly service vans (HVAC, plumbing, delivery, etc.)
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook (for day-to-day operations, analysis, and reporting)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 a plus
• Understanding of vehicle preventative maintenance.
• Ability to manage various pieces of equipment such as excavator, skid steer, bucket truck, lifts, and trailers etc. (anything with wheels and engine) in relation to maintenance.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Compensation: $23.00 – 29.00 /hour range commensurate with experience
