Overview:

Academian is seeking an experienced Technical Project Program Manager to oversee multiple technical projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational goals. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, adhering to scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and priorities.
  • Communicate project status and milestones, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Delegate tasks, set clear expectations, and support team members in overcoming challenges.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address project challenges effectively.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure quality of project deliverables through comprehensive testing and review processes.
  • Conduct project reviews to evaluate performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular project updates for stakeholders.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in technical project management, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
