Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) *Shift/Hours: *12-hour shifts, self-scheduling. Shifts are planned 4-6 weeks in advance, subject to balance and potential changes. *Holiday/Weekend Requirements:* One weekend per pay period (or two weekends per month). Holiday schedules may vary by department. *On Call Requirement:* None *Compensation Range:* * Clinical RN II: $44.23 min - $54.18 mid - $64.14 max * Clinical RN I: $41.22 (Less than 1 year of experience) * _These figures do not include shift diff._ *Responsibilities:* * Triage patients in the Emergency Department. * Utilize appropriate pain management techniques. * Educate patients, families, and/or significant others regarding pain management. * Deliver individualized quality patient care in coordination with physicians, staff, and other departments. * Communicate effectively about patient needs and interact with clinical support staff to optimize patient outcomes. * Evaluate patient outcomes and revise plans of care accordingly. * Address and resolve patient problems through multi-disciplinary team strategies. *Must-Haves:* * License: Current California RN license or temporary CA license. (Proof required; interim CA licenses or licenses in "Probation" status not accepted.) * Certification: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider cards.
