Kent State University at East Liverpool is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track position to teach undergraduate nursing in an ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited associate degree nursing program.

This position involves teaching, lab coordinating, and clinical supervision of students in medical-surgical nursing in the associate degree curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Nursing. Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Ohio. Two or more years of experience in medical-surgical / Maternal Newborn and Pediatrics with clinical as a registered nurse. Simulation experience using mid / high fidelity mannequins preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Confident, approachable, and professional.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
