Cottage is Hiring a Growth Manager Near San Francisco, CA

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the early team at Cottage and work cross-functionally to craft and execute our growth strategy. In the role, you'll report to the Director of Growth and work in close partnership with Sales and Marketing.
Your goal will be to drive homeowner growth by leading new market launches, optimizing our growth funnel and enabling our sales team. You'll identify opportunities using data analysis and critical thinking, and work cross-functionally to get results.
What You'll Do
    • Expansion - launch new markets and service offerings by working cross-functionally between our Marketplace, Sales and Marketing teams
    • Demand Generation - generate qualified leads via performance marketing channels
    • Analytics - build and maintain growth funnel reporting to measure marketing and sales performance
    • Sales Ops -optimize and iterate on go-to-market strategy, sales processes, automations and tools to improve conversion and efficiency for our growth funnel
What You'll Need
    • 2-4 years of experience in growth operations, sales ops or strategy in an early stage, high-growth tech startup, finance or consulting; experience in a marketplace, real estate tech or construction tech is a plus
    • Experience with Excel, SQL, Airtable, or other spreadsheet/database tools; Experience with Zapier, Integrately, Workato, or other low/no-code tools is a plus.
    • Analytical, data-driven mindset; you know how to look at numbers, assess the situation and lead initiatives to move the number in the right direction
    • Proven track record as a resourceful self-starter; you're able to deliver results and manage projects across many stakeholders
    • Strong communication skills and an empathetic work style; you work well with a cross-functional team and are able to able to operate with many ideas and inputs
    • An excitement to experiment, try new things, and be creative
    • Comfort with a fast-paced, rapidly changing and ambiguous (but fun!) work environment
