Job summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for new business processing of accounts from producers and advice and service of personal line accounts in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.

Summary of essential job functions

• Review Accounts for coverage and Competitive Pricing.

Remarket accounts as necessary

•Handling day-to-day questions of customers as necessary.

• Processing new policies and endorsements.

• Analyzing, and processing renewals as necessary.

• Prepare binders.

• Research accounts as necessary.

• Process rating as necessary.

• Acquire Expiration dates from existing customers from in-coming calls.

• Actively round out accounts to existing clients.

• Rate, quote, and place new business for the producers in to the appropriate market.

• Supply all necessary information to the producer to sell the account.

• Receive and process all claims from customers answer questions and follow-up.

• Cover for other agency Employees and strive to be part of the agency team.

• Obtain a Pennsylvania Property and Casualty License

• Continuing Education to obtain insurance related designations.

• Other duties as necessary.

Minimum requirements

College degree or equivalent experience

Abilities required

Good Communication Skills (both Verbal and Written) and Computer Skills
