Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Pipe Layer Helper. As a Pipe Layer Helper, you will work alongside experienced pipe layers to assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground piping systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of construction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the layout, assembly, and installation of underground piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Provide support to pipe layers by handing them tools, materials, equipment, and cut pipe as needed
• Dig trenches and excavations using hand tools and assisted by machinery
• Operate power tools and equipment such as jackhammers and compactors under supervision, grade trenches using stabilized sand
• Assist in the placement and alignment of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Backfill trenches and compact soil to ensure proper compaction and stability.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, digging trenches, and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand measurements associated with a tape measure

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
