SAGE TIMESLIPS LAW OFFICE BOOKKEEPER

MUST KNOW TIMESLEIPS, QUICKSBOOK AND BILLING PROCEDURES IN LAW OFFICE

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Law Office Billing and Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal billing, general ledger reconciliation, public accounting, and bank reconciliation.

Duties:
- Entering legal time entries in Sage TimeSlips

- Billing in Sage TimeSlips

- Collections/Payments via Law Pay

- Balancing Trust Account

- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Conduct account analysis and assist in budgeting processes
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Utilize Quickbooks software for financial transactions
- Apply knowledge of debits, credits, and governmental accounting principles

Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping for a law office

- Must know IOLTA Trust Accounting

- Proven experience in Sage TimeSlips
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account analysis
- Ability to perform accurate journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and governmental accounting standards
