POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Senior Field Trainer will work with the Vice President, Sales Training and focus on designing, coordinating, and delivering new hire training. This role will also be responsible for coordinating internal communications to the distribution organization, and assisting in representing the needs of distribution as it pertains to project implementations. The Senior Field Trainer will also work closely with a large number of departments to help with overall education beyond product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and deliver training for new hires for Global Atlantic’s complete line of products including Variable, Fixed, Fixed Index Annuities and Registered Index Linked Annuities across the distribution organization
• Take a leadership role in Alternative Investment initiatives 
• Develop and deliver ongoing training programs when new products/features/processes are rolled out
• Assist with Allego efforts including but not limited to creating and promoting content to benefit distribution
• Help develop wholesaler segmentation training including sales coordinator development and wholesaler institute for internals who want to transition to external role
• Gain proficiency in Sandler sales training in order to develop and lead efforts to roll out new techniques and processes
• Maintain relationships with our Fund Partners and help coordinate Sales Desk Meetings/Trainings
• Help to deliver the Presentation Skills curriculum
• Assume responsibility for RegEd/Kaplan Vendor Relationship
• Represent Distribution & Sales Support in project meetings
• Ability to travel to and participate in Divisional Meetings, Sales Training, and National Meeting as necessary

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in the Business Administration, Training or Communication discipline.
• 3-5 years of prior experience in a distribution or service organization is a plus.
• Sales background preferred.
• Must have SIE, Series 7, 63, and Life/Health or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Able to communicate effectively with peers and management in both written and verbal form.
• Strong presentation skills both in-person and virtual formats.
• Ability to create and maintain training materials on a variety of topics.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
• Results oriented. Works well both independently and in a team environment.
• Understands and meets the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
