Description:
Production Associate - Level I Assembly
Job Summary: Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
Subassembly/assembly
In this area technicians rotate within the work stations of this area.
Follow documented work instructions.
Use of manual and power tools, as well as basic measurement equipment.
Operators will need to follow instructions and record process information as needed while:
Building subassemblies needed in the assembly line (i.e.: engine pistons, connecting rods, cylinder heads).
Building engines following specific work instructions for each work station.
Engine knowledge and workings a plus
Follow all quality requirements and inspections.
Identify and segregate non-conforming material.
Leak testing engines.
Support problem solving investigations.
All of above while following all HSE requirements.
