Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our team. As a Clinician, you will be responsible for providing counseling and support to individuals and families in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. We are looking for a year contract (1099) to provide outpatient treatment in various Elementary schools in Union County. Clinician will follow UCPS school calendar and breaks. Pay is based on third-party billing. Not Salary.
Responsibilities
- Provide child and family therapeutic services using play based therapy and other cognitive-behavioral approaches
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans and comprehensive evaluations
- Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress
- Conduct weekly outpatient mental health therapy sessions
- Assist teachers and school support staff teams to help child be successful in school setting
- Utilize Electronic Medical Health Record system for documentation
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive outcomes
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations
- Proven experience in child family counseling, or related field
-Play/Trauma based Therapy/experience and trainings are preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients
- Proficient in timely documentation practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Credentialed or paneled with NC Tracks and BCBS is a bonus
