The Yard Supervisor at our manufacturing facility is responsible for overseeing all activities within the yard, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to safety protocols, and timely completion of tasks. Responsible for bundling and stacking of prefabricated light gauge steel wall panels and floor trusses in precise order according to engineering and jobsite specifications. This role involves managing a team, coordinating logistics, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise and provide guidance to yard personnel, including metal fabrication handlers and equipment operators.

· Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, safety procedures, and operational updates.

· Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and adherence to company policies.

· Plan and prioritize daily activities in the yard to meet production targets and customer demands.

· Coordinate with production department to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of materials.

· Monitor inventory levels, conduct periodic audits, and report discrepancies to management for resolution.

· Enforce safety protocols and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies regarding waste disposal and recycling.

· Coordinate maintenance schedules for yard equipment, such as forklifts.

· Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.

· Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional service and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Experience:

• Coordination of Transportation and/or Logistics: 3-5 yrs. (Preferred)
• High School graduate - Advanced degree desired

Languages:

• Bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English. (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
