Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register or Aloha POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Prepare and serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the cafe
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service to customers
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in taking orders and preparing beverages
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
