Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re an Engineering Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Engineering Manager, is responsible to build, lead, and improve a cross functional organization. Design and develop validation equipment and processes and execute validation testing of aerospace product. Validate, improve and/or support products, systems, or applications. The incumbent will report to the Production Equipment Director within Fuel Systems and Controls (FS&C) located in Rockford, IL. They are relied upon to provide a high level of technical expertise in guiding design efforts for test methods equipment and processes as well as other engineering related matters such as quality problem solving. What you will be doing… Drive robust engineering and problem solving culture Establish and implement vision for validation equipment and processes Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives Develop, train and assign skilled staff as required Provide justification for staffing and support profit planning Develop and manage to capital and expense budgets supporting business group profit plans What we are looking for… Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences or Technical/Science required 8 years of Engineering experience in an identical or closely related field required Experience with compressed gasses, high temperature aerospace turbine materials and component testing.
