Job Type Full-time Description
Cornerstone Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is looking for a high energy, skilled clinical employee who likes hands-on work to provide care for patients in our cast rooms.
If you want to join a team that is positive and hardworking then CSO is the place for you! You will work alongside our providers to assist and cast patients for a variety of specialties.
You will collaborate with administrative staff and physicians to optimize flow and efficiency of a variety of ancillary clinic services related to outpatient care.
Daily duties include, but are not limited to :
1. Assist patients with bracing and casting as directed by physician
2. Remove stitches, clean wounds, change dressings
3. Run insurance verification for DME products prior to use
4. Dispensing surgical durable medical equipment
5. Document services rendered in patient chart
6. Dispense and track items required for injections
7. Oversee tool sterilization and autoclaves
8. Assist with overall clinic flow, cleanup, and patient assistance
9. Monitors patient service feedback and helps resolves service issues
10. Ensure clinical exam rooms have required medical stock as needed
12. Run Insurance verification for DME
13. Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Must be able to travel between our three locations as needed. Locations in Superior, Wheat Ridge and Westminster
Skills :
1. Skill in organizational and interpersonal communications.
2. Skill in casting, splinting, bracing various body parts
3. Skill in working in a clinical environment
4. Knowledge of anatomy
Abilities :
1. Ability to make effective decisions by being open to different opinions. Remain flexible at all times. Patient care can be unpredictable.
2. Ability to analyze contradictory information and solve problems effectively within the cast department
3 Ability to utilize computer programs and portals
4. Ability to competently use electronic medical records systems as needed
Salary Description $19-$22 Hourly
