Position Title: Member Risk Adjustment Coordinator I (Remote Work)
Locations: 550 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204 - REMOTE (Only Locals)
Anticipated Start Date: 5/13
Expected Duration: 2 months
Job type: Contract to Hire
Shift: Day shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm EST, No weekends. May convert to alternate shift after 120 days/satisfactory completion of role orientation.
Note: Indiana Remote worker, may have occasional requirement to come into office for staff meetings quarterly.

Job Description:
Position Purpose: Schedule appointments, gather medical histories and updated member and provider information in support of member outreach and claims reimbursement.• Maintain Case load:• Daily outreach 20 -40 calls daily• Monthly Quality Audit score 90 - 95%• Attend Corporate orientation x 4 weeks, Check in with hiring Supervisor to ensure receipt of equipment and access to MHS/Corporate Computer systems• Understanding of basic medical terminology• MA, QMA, CNA• Call center experience (recommended)• Good customer service skills• Ability to problem solve basic computer issues• Reliable internet access• Managing Excel spread sheets• Work with multiple compute system• Good verbal communication skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity requirements.• 2 years’ experience in medical officeRequired Skills/Experience:Perficient computer skillsAbility to work in multiple computer programsExperience in Microsoft Word/Teams/Excel Preferred Skills/ Experience: Member engagement Telephonic Cold Calling Engagement skillsGood verbal and written communication skills Education Requirement: High School graduate Education Preferred: MA, CNA, QMAEducation/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of customer service or medical office experience. Experience with preserved medical record retrieval systems preferred. Billing or coding experience preferred. Beginner level Excel skills.Responsibilities:• Assist members with scheduling office visits with primary care provider.• Retrieves charts from electronic medical record systems and compile medical records to send to other parties for coding.• Requests medical records by making outbound phone calls to provider groups.• Completes supplemental medical records requests using Excel files.• Assist with providing updated member and provider information to vendors.• Directs medical record requests to the responsible party.• Resolves outstanding vendor pends within a timely manner by updating member and provider demographics and working with chart load issues.• Ensure follow up on member appointments or other tasks designated.• Assist with ad hoc requests.
