Job Description: Parts Counter Specialist
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Provides assistance to customers who wish to purchase parts at the parts counter or via telephone. Orders, receives and distributes equipment parts on behalf of customers.
Experience and Skills
· Automotive Parts counter experience: 1 year (Required)
· Knowledge of windows, Microsoft outlook, Google, and other parts related sites, etc.
· Answering phones and talking to customers in an appropriate manner
· Taking customer orders (on phone, and walk-ins)
· Handling payments
· Researching and finding parts information for internal and counter sales.
· Cross referencing part numbers
· Creating and updating new/existing information for customers
· Ensure the accuracy of parts ordered
· Retrieving parts form special order and stock room
· Assist with showroom displays and cleaning.
· Assist with the processing tracking and close out maintenance claims
· Pull pick tickets and close for delivery and/or place on “will call” items
· Help teammates with processing parts orders
· Follow other duties a as assigned
Responsibilities:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
