Position Overview:

As an Overhead Utility Joint Use Inspector, you'll be responsible for conducting meticulous visual inspections of pole attachments, adhering to the highest standards of quality assurance and control. You'll work closely with local utility companies, providing essential third-party inspection services to guarantee the integrity and reliability of overhead electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive inspections of pole attachments in accordance with NESC specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Capture detailed photographic evidence to accompany inspection reports, providing visual documentation of as-built configurations and identifying any deviations or discrepancies.
• Utilize company-provided standards, procedures, and blueprints to meticulously verify the integrity of electrical designs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records by completing inspection forms to document inspection results and observations.
• Embrace the dynamic nature of the role, conducting inspections outdoors year-round, across diverse urban and remote environments, and under varying weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Demonstrate 2-3 years of hands-on experience in overhead electrical and/or communication attachments, showcasing your expertise and proficiency in the field.
• Technical Skills: Possess the ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings with precision and accuracy, ensuring thorough understanding and compliance with project requirements.
• Communication: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
