Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in computer hardware, computer networking, and electrical systems. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure low voltage systems including security cameras, access control systems, and fire alarms
- Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems as needed
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient system operation
- Provide excellent customer service during installations and service calls
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking
- Mechanical knowledge for working with power tools
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- CAT 5 and CAT 6
- CCTV and access control
