Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

GENERAL:

· Generates quotes and orders for customers.

· Coordinates Shop drawings with Engineering

· Acts as main contact person for customers regarding sales questions, including providing product education and explaining company literature.

· Provides training to users navigating the company website.

· Provides basic level customer support for company bid program.

Supervisory Responsibilities 

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Starting Pay $21.00

· Must be able to read and understand English and to clearly communicate over the telephone.

· Must have basic computer skills that include use of email, Microsoft Word, navigation of the company website, and ability to operate a calculator.

· Must have ability to operate standard office equipment such as copiers and telephones.

· Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Must possess the ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing and drawings.

· Must possess strong written skills, including the ability to compose a formal letter.

· Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.

· Must work well under pressure and time restraints.

· General knowledge of construction and construction terms a plus

Language Skills 

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Reasoning Ability 

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
