Day to day as a Real Estate and Housing Projects Manager

As the Real Estate and Housing Projects Manager at Grove Park Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of real estate projects in Atlanta, Georgia. From inception to completion, you will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and scope. Your expertise in stakeholder engagement will be critical as you foster strong relationships with community members, developers, funders, and city officials to drive project success. Collaborating closely with the GPF Development Director, you will secure necessary funding, manage project finances, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Serving as a community liaison, you will address concerns, provide updates, and prioritize community needs throughout project development. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and make a meaningful impact on housing development initiatives.

A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or related field is required, with a Master's degree considered a plus. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in real estate development or project management is necessary, showcasing a track record of successful housing and commercial development projects.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skill with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong understanding of project financing, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  • Familiarity with real estate development software and tools

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate ,Urban Planning, Business Administration or a related field.
  • A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate developmen, project management or a related field with a proven track record of managing housing and commercial development projects.
