Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in all phases of the litigation process. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with trial, aribitration and deposition preparation. The ideal candidate has strong writing and research skills, is familiar with document management systems, has up to date computer skills and has experience in personal injury, litigation and Arizona law (may consider CA law experience).

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

- Organize and maintain case files and documents

- Assist with trial, mediation and arbitration preparation, including preparing exhibits, binders and witness lists

- Interview clients and witnesses to gather information for cases

- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions and hearings

- Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, experts and clients as needed

- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, tracking case deadlines and maintaining calendars

-Communicate with attorneys, insurance adjusters, experts, clients, legal assistants, all staff and all work related contacts in a professional manner

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal

- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures related to Arizona litigation

- Proficiency in using document management systems such as Filevine or similar software

- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work with multiple attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, office managers

-Flexibility to shift work tasks based on deadlines, priorities and case updates

-Willingness to be a team player and help others succeed with you

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

-Working knowledge of medical terminology and personal injury

-Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Case Management, Internet and typing
